When a customer is interested in a product, we use a few focus techniques to help make the sale.
First
When a customer mentions a product in the cases, immediately get out the merchandise and place it on the jewelry pad. This gets the product in the customer’s hands.
Focus Techniques
Focus on the product itself. The more knowledge given to the customer about the product, the more likely they can find what they’re really looking for.
Focus, also, on how you sell a product. When a customer asks about a product, immediately get it to them, place it on the case closest to the customer on a jewelry pad and let the customer know it’s okay to handle the product. When dealing with glass, any removable parts should be placed on a jewelry pad before given to the customer.
Focus on how quickly the item is usually in stock. Be sure customers feel that they are limited by time and inventory, so they are motivated to take action.
